What would you do if you woke up one day, finding you lost everything? The person you care for most in the world has gone missing and nobody even remembers her being next to you? Would you do anything to find this person, even if it meant traveling to the end reaches of time? Serah is willing to do so.
Three years ago Vanille and Fang sacrificed themselves to save the people of Cocoon; so mankind could continue to live on and lead their lives. Though life is hard on Gran Pulse, people remain hopeful that a world without the ruiling of the fal'Cie and l'Cie will be a good one.
Three years ago, Lightning was smiling as Serah and Snow planned their wedding. But this is a reality nobody else remembers. To everyone else, Lightning was never standing there; she had sacrificed her life alongside Vanille and Fang. Serah, however, does not believe this. She believes Lightning is somewhere - in a strange realm known as Valhalla. But what is Valhalla and what is Lightning doing there?
Serah lives her life, as a teacher, on Gran Pulse while Snow puts his trust in Serah and goes off to look for her sister. But when a strange meteor falls from the sky and Serah meets with a man named Noel, her world is turned upside down - she absolutely must uncover the truth for herself.
