Terra has the most physical power of all three heroes, making him the strongest in battle. He is able to wield heavy Keyblades which deal a large amount of damage. While his defense is on the weak side, his high HP rating makes up for his lack of defensive powers. Sadly, being big and powerful has a downside - Terra is the slowest of all three heroes, making him less agile on the battlefield when compared to Ventus and Aqua.

Ventus
Basics
Ventus is the most agile of the three heroes and is able to easily dodge attacks. However, he doesn't have a long reach and has difficulty striking back. His action commands mostly focus on being able to dodge enemy attacks and to move quickly around the battle field. Even so, he does not have the HP or Strength of characters like Terra, which makes him slightly more vulnerable if actually hit. He does, however, have high attack speed and is easily able to get off lots of rapid hits.

Basics
Aqua is not very good with melee combat, but she makes up for it with her higher magic statistic. She also has a larger HP pool than Ventus does, but her defense is lower. She is able to cast magic commands with a large amount of power than the other two. A great skill Aqua has is the Barrier command. With this, she can block attacks from any given direction. The amazing thing is she can also block from from midair by using this command.
