Persona 4 » April 2011 Walkthrough
April 2011
The game will start and you'll need to select your difficulty level. Simple enough. A short video will play and then you'll be introduced to Igor and Margaret as well as being able to enter the name for your character. Afterwards, a second video will play.
4/11:
You'll get picked up and brought to your new house. After all the cutscenes you should save then head upstairs and go to bed. Once you go to bed you'll end up in a strange area. Run forward until text appears. Once you go through a door at the end of the path you'll start a battle. Just attack and use your skills.
4/12:
In the morning you walk to school with Nanako.
Class will begin today and you'll be introduced to Chie and Yukiko. After class something strange will happen - a murder.
In the evening you'll sit and have dinner with Nanako again and cutscenes will play.
4/13:
You'll be introduced to that accidental student today.
In the moring you'll have your Knowedge increased automatically.
You'll go out to eat after school with Yosuke and Chie. You'll hear about the Midnight channel.
That evening you'll "expirence" exactly what the midnight channel is. Sort of. At any rate, something strange will happen and a scene will play.
4/14:
You'll have a question in class:
When did A.D. - in other words, Anno Domini - begin? Answer: When Jesus was born.
Your knowledge will increase for giving the correct answer.
After school you'll end up at the mall with your friends... and whaddya know? You all get sucked into the tv! There are just cutscenes, though.
4/15:
Lots of cutscenes today.
After school, at Junes, Yosuke will ask you a question. Reply with "I'm worried about Chie" to increase your understanding.
You'll be forced to go into the TV world today as part of the story of the game. In here you'll encounter your first real battle with your power of the persona fully awakended. You'll fight TWO SLIPPING HABELRIE. These two monsters are weak to zio so use the skill to your advantage! After some cutscenes, you'll have to fight your first boss!
S H A D O W Y O S U K E
Shadow Yosuke is your first real boss in the game! Since it is the beginning of the game, you'll only be level 2 when facing this boss, which means it is easy. It is weak to Zio, which is the only real spell you have. So, really, you can just keep using Zio and healing whenever your HP runs low. Very very simple.

S H A D O W C H I E
Shadow Chie is weak to Garu, which means you can use an all-out attack if you use a Garu spell on her first and knock her down. This will make it easy. However, do note, if you use Garu, Shadow Chie may use "green wall" which will nullfiy her resistance for a few turns. If this happens you'll just need to attack normally.
Shadow Chie also uses "zio" which Yosuke is weak to. Do your worst! Make sure to use Yosuke's "Dia" if HP gets low or even use Medicines if you have them.

YUKIKO'S CASTLE
NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THIS PART OF THE TV WORLD BEFORE 4/30. THERE IS NO SET TIME TO DO IT SO DO IT AT YOUR LEISURE BEFORE THEN.
The TV world this month is a castle. Yukiko's castle. Below are some tips for defeating the bosses.
Mini Boss: AVENGER KNIGHT
This guy is annoying. No *REAL* apparant weakness. I recommend you use spells against this mini-boss because physical attacks will do very pitiful damage. It uses a powerful Skewer attack which... well, will leave you with basically no HP remaining. Make sure to have lots of healing items on hand for him. If you have a Persona which has media it will work wonderfully.
BOSS: S H A D O W Y U K I K O
The boss here is Shadow Yukiko. This boss uses lots of fire based spells. Having a Persona, such as Obariyon would work well for this battle because it is decent level and has a good resistance to fire based magics.
She will summon a "Charming Prince" whose whole role is to A. Heal Yukiko, and B. Be annoying. There is a solution, however. Have Chie knock down the charming prince with her Bufu spell. Then have her use Bufu again to Dizzy it. When it gets back up do it again. You'll want to keep this little bugger down since it heals a good chunk of HP back to Shadow Yukiko.
Use Dia or healing items when needed and just pummel Shadow Yukiko with your best attacks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After these battles you'll go back to Junes. You can choose the option "We should call it a day" to increase your understanding.
